On Sunday (June 4th), Ariana Grande will be holding the “One Love Manchester” charity concert at the city’s Old Trafford cricket ground. The lineup for the concert plans to be Coldplay, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Usher, Niall Horan, Take That, and Pharrell Williams.
One Love Manchester aims to promote a message of how love must persevere in turbulent times. Ariana Grande wrote in an online statement, “We will not quit or operate in fear, we will not let this divide us, we won’t let hate win.”
Tickets for One Love Manchester will go on sale June 1 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/arianagrandemanchester. People who were at the original Manchester concert can register for a free ticket at manchester_benefit.ontouraccess.com. All proceeds will go to the British Red Cross Society and help those were affected by the bombing.
If you cannot acquire a ticket, you will still be able to watch the concert on BBC TV, Capital Radio Networks, and BBC Radio. A live stream will also be available, however, the provider is TBD.
