Kendrick Lamar and Foo Fighters Headline Voodoo Festival

From Oct. 27 -29, Voodoo music festival will be taking place at City Park, New Orleans. Voodoo attendees will be celebrating their Halloween weekend with the music headliners Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, the Killers, LCD Sound System, and DJ Snake. This year, Voodoo aims to continue their tradition of creating a spooky fun atmosphere. Voodoo attendees will be able enjoy their favorite music artists and the creepy decor of the festival. Voodoo has rounded up some of the most renown artists to implement unique art installations of living dead in a cemetery.

If you aren’t thrilled by the music or art installations, you will still have the opportunity to enjoy a large variety of events and activities. Voodoo festival plans to include an arcade, craft beer hall,  wine lounge, small music dens, a craft market, and even a roller coaster. The abundance of activities and shops will easily satisfy every festival attendee.

GA, VIP, and Platinum tickets for Voodoo fest are still available to purchase at voodoofestival.com/tickets. VIP and Platinum tickets will get you preferable viewing areas, VIP rooms, express lanes, and air conditioned flushable rooms.

Weezer, Snoop Dogg, and many more perform at LouFest 2017

LouFest is kicking off tomorrow at 11 A.M. and some of the top names in the music industry are slated to perform. The headliners plan to be Weezer, Snoop Dogg, Cage the Elephant, and Run the Jewels. You can see the rest of the performs in the video below:

The music artists will be playing on either the Bud Light Stage, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Stage, or the BMI-Tunespeak Stage at the following times:

At 8pm on Saturday, LouFest will be holding a special tribute to Chuck Berry in their “Hail! Hail! Chuck Berry!” segment. Band members from Cage the Elephant, Spoon, and the Roots will be performing classic Chuck Berry songs that had a significant impact in rock music. LouFest producers Mike Van Hee and Rich Toma have promised that a segment like “Hail! Hail! Chuck Berry!” will be “the first of what will ultimately become an everlasting piece of the festival for years to come.”

Anyone interested in attending LouFest can purchase tickets at loufest.com/tickets. Ticket prices range from $60 one day passes to $750 platinum passes.
