Emerging South African DJ became the amapiano artist and first black woman to headline at the iconic dance venue Brooklyn Mirage on August 18th. Uncle Waffles took the outdoor stage just as the heavy rains ended and delivered a blistering set to an energized and excited audience. Bulldog DM captured all the action from multiple cameras and the livestream was broadcast on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel. Waffles was joined by Joey Bada$$ for their collaboration on her track Wadibuse.

The company has been expanding its reach in sports, agreeing in 2021 to pay about $1 billion a year for the exclusive rights to Thursday Night Football.

Fans around the world were able tune in to a livestream watch party and virtual screening with the director and cast of Amazon Prime Video’s holiday smash hit “Candy Cane Lane” starring Eddie Murphy on Sunday December 3rd.
