Reflections on the busiest month in company history

It’s no secret that livestreaming companies such as Bulldog DM are indirectly benefiting from the pandemic, which has all but shuttered the live events industry. Analysis on what the future holds is aplenty. While Team Bulldog has its own perspective, instead of looking at what’s in front of us, we decided to take a look back and reflect on what was the busiest month in company history.

Bulldog DM Announces Partnership with National Independent Venue Association (NIVA)

Partnership Will Allow NIVA Members Access To Pioneering Livestream Technology To Create Content And Unique Fan Experiences Geared Towards Saving Independent Venues Through NIVA’s Emergency Relief Fund

(Los Angeles, CA) – Bulldog DM, the world’s most experienced livestreaming company for premium content has partnered with the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) to guide its efforts to create live video experiences in support of the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund and the organization’s advocacy efforts.

The partnership will allow NIVA to utilize Bulldog DM’s pioneering livestreaming best practices and position NIVA venues to engage brands, partners and sponsors with turnkey solutions to present must-see performances and live experiences from NIVA stages that in parallel allow fans to give back to independent venues while watching.

NIVA’s mission is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live venues, promoters and festivals throughout the United States. Representing the lifeblood of the live and independent music industries, these independent venues and promoters were the first to close and will be the last to fully reopen. When asked if the shutdown lasts six months or longer and there is no meaningful federal support, 90% NIVA members said they would be forced to close forever.

Given the explosion of livestreaming since the onset of COVID-19, fan engagement with livestreams is higher than ever. Artists have begun to elevate their livestream performances as they move away from their bedrooms and living rooms, exploring ways to create higher quality livestream shows that fans would pay for. Bulldog DM and NIVA believe that NIVA stages create a perfect platform for such an evolving strategy.

Bulldog DM powers groundbreaking Pay Per View livestream for Canadian rock band July Talk

Bulldog DM enabled a truly innovative livestreaming experience with July Talk in creating back to back livestreams of the band’s sold-out shows at the Stardust Drive-In Theatre in Sharon, Ontario on August 12th and 13th. The band self produced a stunning 8 camera capture including drone coverage for both nights live streamed from their site utilizing Bulldog’s white labeled turnkey PPV ticketing solution. Moreover, the rich live stream was accompanied by stereo audio and available to fans worldwide. The pre-show experience was offered on the band’s Facebook and Instagram accounts to alert viewers about the live performance.
