Apple Music will livestream concerts, starting with Harry Styles

Apple Music will start livestreaming some concerts from major artists this week as part of a new series. Apple Music Live kicks off with a Harry Styles show that subscribers in 167 countries will able to watch live and at no extra cost on May 20th. The company says Apple Music Live is a way to “give the biggest stars in music the biggest possible platform to flaunt how they connect with audiences and how their songs translate to live performance.”

Hulu expands partnership to stream music festivals through 2023

A partnership between the Walt Disney Company’s Hulu and entertainment company Live Nation has expanded to include streaming rights for several music festivals over the next two years.
On Thursday, Disney said Hulu will serve as the official television streaming partner for the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee, Lollapalooza in Chicago and the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, starting this year and continuing into 2023.

The first Nigerian artist to headline and sellout Madison Square Garden, Grammy winning Burna Boy partnered with YouTube to share the historic concert moment with the world on April 28. Bulldog DM helps AT&T deliver stunning Arcade Fire livestream from the Final Four

AT&T’s Block Party experience at the Final Four culminated in a breathtaking concert by alternative rock icons, Arcade Fire from their adopted home city of New Orleans. AT&T offered viewers a curated live, choose your view concert experience from the AT&T 5G Concert Lens powered by Bulldog DM. Fans enjoyed instantaneous and immediate camera angle switching and stereo audio during the Arcade Fire set that regularly switched from black and white to color. Fans were also treated to sets from King Princess and Preservation Hall Jazz Band with aspects of the production workflow shot on Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 Ultra devices. The experience was simulcast on both AT&T and Arcade Fire’s instagram accounts using Bulldog DM’s premium IG live capability.

Bulldog DM powers Sony Set The Stage livestream

Long time Bulldog DM client Sony turned to Bulldog DM to help power their innovative music experience ‘Set The Stage’ where music fans help co-create content with some of their favorite Sony Music Entertainment artists, including The Kid LAROI, BIA and Tate McRae. The artists will each invite their followers to participate in the “Set The Stage” challenge. Fans will be able to submit artwork of the artist’s song lyrics that will then be turned into dynamic, visual works that the artists will perform within during their “Set The Stage” live video performance. The performance videos with 360 Reality Audio, production diaries and unreleased behind-the-scenes content of all three live performances will be shot with Sony’s flagship digital cinema camera – the VENICE 2 and FX9 full-frame cameras, and will be released throughout the campaign and livestreamed on Sony’s YouTube channel.
